## Quick Brief

Dallas returns home after a 28–20 loss to the Giants in its opener. The Cowboys were outgained 394–244, allowed 165 rushing yards, and struggled to find rhythm offensively. Dak Prescott finished with 175 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception.

Washington came much closer to opening with a win, falling 24–22 at Philadelphia after a potential game-tying two-point conversion was stopped in the final minute. Jayden Daniels threw for 164 yards and two touchdowns and added 31 yards on the ground, while the Commanders rushed for 132 yards as a team.

Both teams will also be missing pieces Sunday. Washington has ruled out linebacker Frankie Luvu and tight end Chig Okonkwo, while Dallas enters the matchup after losing defenders DeMarvion Overshown and Malik Hooker to injuries in Week 1.

## Trading on Washington vs. Dallas

Dallas enters looking to rebound after an uneven opener. Dak Prescott threw for 175 yards and two touchdowns against New York, but the Cowboys generated few explosive plays and lost the turnover battle in a 28-20 defeat.

Washington’s opener offered a different mix. Jayden Daniels, playing his first regular-season game in 11 months, finished with 164 passing yards and two touchdowns as the Commanders rallied late against Philadelphia. Washington also rushed for 132 yards, with Daniels adding 31 on the ground.

The Cowboys allowed 394 yards in their opener, including 165 on the ground, while Jaxson Dart completed 79% of his passes and added 54 rushing yards. That makes Daniels’ dual-threat ability especially relevant Sunday, with Dallas also missing linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and safety Malik Hooker.

Washington edge rusher Dorance Armstrong is set to return and make his season debut against his former team.

## Other NFL games to watch

- **Pittsburgh at New England:** The Patriots carry a 68% chance of winning despite opening the season with a 13–10 loss at Seattle. Pittsburgh is 32% after beating Atlanta 20–13\. New England -5.5 is priced at 48%, and the over 41.5 sits at 49%.
- **Cincinnati at Houston:** One of the tighter markets on Sunday’s board gives Houston a 58% chance against Cincinnati at 42%. The Texans are looking to rebound from a 36–31 loss to Buffalo but will be without Nico Collins, Jadeveon Clowney, and starting guard Ed Ingram. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is questionable with a back injury.
- **New Orleans at Baltimore:** Baltimore is a 78% favorite after beating Indianapolis 41–23 in its opener. The Ravens will be without receiver Zay Flowers. New Orleans is priced at 22% after rallying from 21 points down before losing 31–30 in overtime at Detroit.
- **Las Vegas at Los Angeles Chargers:** The Chargers carry a 72% chance of winning, with a 6.5-point margin priced at 51%. Las Vegas arrives 1–0 after beating Miami 27–13, while Los Angeles is looking to respond to a 26–14 opening loss to Arizona.
